RE: SMTP Problem?

I am trying to send SMTP msg too - with no success, ever. The only way I can
do it is to telnet to port 25 of the server manually or using java program.

Here are my efforts:

  ADDDIRE USRID(INTERNET GATEWAY)
           USRD('Internet SMTP gateway') SYSNAME(INTERNET)
                 PREFADR(NETUSRID *IBM ATCONTXT)
  Entry INTERNET GATEWAY added to the directory.
  CHGDSTA SMTPRTE(INTERNET GATEWAY)
    STRTCPSVR *SMTP
SNDDST TYPE(*LMSG) TOINTNET((janusz.prusaczyk@big.pl)) DSTD('Test message'
) LONGMSG('To message testowy')
Send distribution completed successfully.

Send distribution completed successfully.

OK - from the very first day AS/400 keeps telling me "Send distribution
completed successfully." - but I never receive anything in my mailbox this
way.

In TCP/IP host table entries I defined mail server as POCZTA.

What do I do wrong? Please, help.
