• Subject: Best method for moving AS/400 data to PC

We are building an interface from our Infinium Payables Ledger to ADP
payroll for ACH payments (i.e. direct deposit of employee expense
checks).

We are reviewing the various possibilities of moving AS/400 data to PC
for ADP.

Known options are FTP, Client Access - execute remote command, ODBC, and
various third party packages (ex. Paul Conte's Commando?)

Can anyone offer any advice as to which would be preferred method and
why?

We are trying to automate as much as possible (i.e. not force conscious
effort on part of end user to run multiple manual commands), while
keeping recovery options in mind.

Any and all input is appreciated. TIA

Regards,
Cynthia
