Title: RE: Best method for moving AS/400 data to PC
I've tried everything that I can.  I worked with their tech support and sent them DSPJOB's and whatever else they wanted.  The program completes normally, but when you try to open the .XLS file from the IFS, Excel reports an invalid file.  If you continue, the file opens with garbage displayed.  They think it's a codepage issue.  There is no user control in their program over codepages.

I am using the same program from Kemetech Systems (and have been for some time now) with no problems.  What isn't working?  What are your error messages?  Have you checked the simple things, such as authority of the directory you're creating the XLS file in?
