You're right. There hasn't been much written about quality assurance but a
guy I worked with for many years just recently published a very good book
that was written specifically for AS/400 environments. It may be just what
you're looking for.

The book clearly defines all the elements necessary in establishing an
effective quality assurance plan and contains some very helpful information
on debugging skills, programming techniques, testing practices and
maintaining a positive relationship with your users or customers.

I learned a lot about Q/A from working with this guy and I can tell you
honestly that reading this book will give you a much better understanding on
how to produce tighter and more manageable systems.

The book is available on the internet right now and I believe you can find
it at WWW.QCO400.com. Check it out.
