My guess is they won't be in a big hurry to rearchitect spooling on the
AS400.... but they should be able to come up with some workable even if
"artificial" ways, to handle some of the spool file attribute issues. 

For example, if a spool file is restored and the job it was created in isn't
on the system anymore... Create that job again and associate the restored
spool file with it. This is something IBM should be able to do that a third
party vendor can't do.
