     thanx for that - its pretty good here in that someone usually has already
had the problem &
come up with a good solution. Not this time sadly.
The only way I can do it is to use TNAPI  (Telnet API) to dynamicaly create a
telnet session,
log on to the 400, do the NETSTAT *CNN command then do an F6 print and then
process the resultant spool file.
Very messy.....
