We have several users sharing Lotus 1-2-3 files stored on the AS/400 by
using a mapped drive. These are both QDLS and IFS type files. If they
have a file open and their PC crashes (which is not infrequent), the next
time someone attempts to open the file, they get the following error:

The file you tried to open is in use.
 TESTEST.123
Open the file with read-only access?

Does anyone know of a way to close the file so it is again available for
read-write access (short of an IPL, which does seem to fix it, but is not
the most desirable solution)?

Thanks.
