Hi Lou,

For the roll-your-own solution you can use something like:

DSPOBJD OBJ(*ALL/*ALL) OBJTYPE(*QRYDFN) OUTPUT(*OUTFILE) OUTFILE(QTEMP/XYZ)

then read QTEMP/XYZ and for each query listed:

RTVQMQRY QMQRY(QRYLIB/QRYNAME) SRCFILE(QTEMP/SOURCE) ALWQRYDFN(*YES)

the source file will contain something like:

H QM4 05 Q 01 E V W E R 01 03 00/11/14 22:37
V 1001 050 Customers with invalid code
V 5001 004 *HEX
SELECT
  ALL T_CUSNO, T_CUSNAM, T_CUSAD1, W_BLLCOD
  FROM LIBNAME/CUSTEXT T01
  WHERE W_BLLCOD NOT IN ('1', '2', '3')

Find the FROM clause and parse it and save the results.

Peter Dow
