Hello,
discovered this yesterday:
I need to copy two 8mm (2GB) tapes to 5.25inch tape (4GB).
Source tape 1 contains partial file at the end, this file
continues on source tape 2.

When duplicating tapes, program QTAERR sends msg CPA4088 asking
for source tape change, but I have no chance to answer the message,
because "somone" answers it with Cancel reply. DUPTAP then ends.

There is no such entry in System reply list.

Source drive is 7208-342 (20GB 8mm), dest. drive is 6382
(4GB 5.25inch).

I've tried also to copy 8mm tape to more small 5.25inch tapes,
as in the first case there was CPA4088 (asking me to insert next
destination tape) and again there was Cancel reply.

I'm on V4R4.

Can anybody help?

Thanks

Lukas Rampa
