28 hours to restore the data from a 3590?  Remember, if you EVER plan on
doing a restore in a timely fashion - like in a DR situation, then always
save access paths.  May take more time and tape but it beats going bankrupt
because your system was down for so long rebuilding the access paths.  We
had a system in which we did a restore without access paths.  Took days and
days for the system to rebuild them.  Never again.

Hi Kirk,
thanks for the sound advice, although I think I'll keep away from the DR
scenario, hopefully if all goes well !!!, 3590's are quick but I have done
rebuilds in the past of our system and it took 28 hours to restore the user
data alone and that was less space than we are currently using !!!
