We are looking at the possibility of purchasing a model 830 box and doing
away with our model 530 and model 510 box.

A few questions for those of you on a new Model 8XX box that was asked to me
from our CEO.

How long has this model been available?
I seem to recall that the announcement was made around May sometime with
shipments starting in August.

Who is using it?

What should we expect to be our experience with this new machine?

What are some of your experiences with the machine?

A few extra questions from me.

A few years ago we had some problems when we were the first to go to a new
release of the O/S.

Have any of you had any problems recently with V4R5? By recently, I mean
since mid-November or so.

Should we expect any problems with the hardware of the newer models?

Are any of you using LPAR? (The Monday Morning Update from MC says hundreds
are using it)

How many LPAR's are you using?

Any problems with LPAR's?

Any other problems with anything else concerning V4R5 or Model 8xx machines
or any suggestions?

Your answers are appreciated.
Thanks.
