Thanks a lot. I've spent several hours this morning looking at the IBM online
ref books and have been unable to find anything that discusses the CA/400 ports.

I found this reference by John Ross in the midrange archives -
http://www.as400.ibm.com/clientaccess/fwoverview.htm
Short answer is to open ports 23, 449, and 8476. Other ports may be needed
depending on what functions you require.
Hope this helps!

We changed some of our security procedures which included moving a small
development AS/400 behind a firewall. We can no longer open Client Access
sessions to the AS/400 from the internet. Port 23 is open. Does CA use
other ports or is there something else I should check?

TIA - Joe Teff
