Hi, Ray, you mention using ODBC to communicate with Oracle on Unix. Just in case this is of any help to you, take a look at the following: http://www-4.ibm.com/software/data/datajoiner/ or http://www-4.ibm.com/software/data/datajoiner/factsheet or http://www.as400.ibm.com/developer/bi/datajoiner.html This is NOT ODBC, but may be a solution for what you are looking for. DataJoiner is an IBM Software Product that allows DB2 systems (AS/400, AIX, OS/2, MVS) access different Relational DataBases in "heterogeneous environments", i.e. access to Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, ... running on Windows, Unix, ... platforms Hope this helps.
