I think is enough to try to save the object - and you'll have a message saying
that the object is damaged and also if it's marked as damaged from earlier
saves.(that is for physical damage though)

Subject: DAMAGED OBJECT

Is there a way to determine if an object is damaged by using the STRSST? I
thought I remembered doing this and now I don't know.
TIA
