Since Bob is talking about the iSeries University courses,
I have a question for the community about IBMs Satellite
Training (thru etnetworks). This has been available for over
a year, with many courses for AS400, RS6000, NT/2000,
S/390, etc. A satellite dish is installed (free) and you pay
an annual subscription fee, per user, to get all the courses
available. There were many promises of future courses
(Domino, and more AS400) but very few have appeared.
Is anyone out there using this? I like the way it is delivered,
ten channels, 24x7x365, but get the feeling it's not going
anywhere. Is this another IBM dead end program? Without
new meaningful content my education dollars are better
spent elsewhere.
Jim Franz
