Mark, >the first position of a password must be character - (snip) >anyone got a clue how this could happen??? To create a numeric password, add a Q prefix when assigning the password. EG, use Q121212 and then you can sign on with a password of 121212. Perhaps in some old releases it was not necessary to add the Q prefix when assigning the password? I can't tell you for sure.
