All,

My attempts to use a validation list to protect an HTTP server instance
are failing. I have created the *VLDL via the *ADMIN web server, and
can list those in the list. I have modified the HTTP protection scheme
to specify PasswdFile vldllib/vldl (it was %%SYSTEM%%). After
restarting we can't authenticate using userids on the validation list.
BUT we CAN still use AS/400 userids and passwords! It seems to be flat
ignoring the PasswdFile parameter. It IS inside the protection scheme.
It's not authority to the *VLDL cause we gave *PUBLIC *ALL.

 Help!

   - Larry
