I don't recall ever hearing of that printer/copier but 
you could start here:

It has a lot of information on MANY ascii printers and the various
connect methods.

PSF/400 would proably be a big help in doing overlays, although
there are pc products that will do similar functions. The 
overlay is then sent to the 400.
