Title: RE: NetServer
Richard,

Since you can Telnet and FTP to the AS/400 we can assume that routing is not the problem. I would guess that your firewall is blocking the ports used by NetServer. You might need to talk to the security folks to remove any port restrictions on the firewall...

If my computer is connected to the same LAN as the AS/400, I can connect to Netserver just fine.
The problem occurs when I'm trying to connect remotely via the Internet. Are there any additional network protocols I need to configure?
I can telnet and ftp just fine remotely; I just can't connect to NetServer.

Thanks in advance!
Richard

First trying changing your password on the AS400.  It may have been disabled from Netserver usage do to invalid signon attempts.  Second, are you in the same subnet as the AS400?  Are you in the same Domain?

Help!

I've recently converted my PC from Client Access V3R2 to Client Access
Express V4R5.
Terminal emulation and Operations Navigator work fine.
My problem is that I can't connect to the file shares via NetServer.
