write a little MI-program:

CPYNV NN,1234;
ADDN(S) NN,1;
SUBN(S) NN,1;

repeat the above three instructions 33 times,
put a loop around these 99 instructions to execute them
a million times. Disassemble the program and count
RISC instructions for the loop. Assume one RISC
instruction per cycle. Divide the time it took by the
number of instructions. Then you have time per
instruction. If that time is 30 nanoseconds, you
have a 33MHz machine.
