Sorry for not being explicit.  By changing the value of IPRSBTIMO to 86
thru the CHGTCPA command, you effectively turn dead gateway processing off.
The TCP support group told me this is the 'magic' number for dead gateway
processing.  To answer the question of 120 seconds, we never touched this
parameter before.  I don't like to assume it came as 120, but that was what
we were working with.  The TCP support group didn't blink when they looked
at this value and saw it at 120, so I can't really say V4R5 shipped it at
120.  Best to call support and ask.  Hope this helps.
