We use Strategi from http://www.businesslink.com/ It handles the encryption, adds an extra user/passphrase authentication before providing a signon screen, handles file transfers to specific users, printer output to the users (as html, haven't tried remote printing). It does its job well. I haven't seen any load on the 400 from users on Strategi. It runs as a Java applet in a browser, so there is no software to download and install. It doesn't seem to work well on Linux or on Netscape 6.0 on Windows (but then NS 6.0 isn't so great...) +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
