I just resolve this problem on our OS400 V4R3M0.
Your AS/400 name and IP on the network is the culprit. Your IP is internal
and is recognized by your MS Exchange internally. There are 2 ways to reach
outside world. Second option is preferred but may take time.
1. A. Get an internal IP "NAME" that translate to outside world.
B. Replace your AS/400 "Name" that is known to your INTRANET in your
host table entry with name from 1a above.
(At my site we have 3 names assigned to the system IP but only
1 is known to our INTRANET).
2. Tell you Network Admin to make your AS/400 system IP translate to
outside world.
