I run a good bit of processing early in the morning, and for this reason I stop tcp and start tcp every nite before these morning jobs start. This has been running on V4r5 for 4 months with no problem and before that over a year. 3 days ago my morning jobs didnt finish, and I found that 2 jobs under Qsyswrk(for tcp) was taking up over 90 percent of my CPU. These 2 jobs are Qtsmtpcltp and Qtsmtpsrvp... I'm pretty sure that both of these have to do with smtp mail on the as400 and may be running because of a loop in some mail? .. by some things I have read.. I know how to stop smtp from running but I would like to keep it running. Does anyone know how to check for mail that could cause this.. or Does anyone know how to fix this... Thanks in advance..
