I have been trying to find a way to send an error message back to QDSIGNONXX. What we are trying to accomplish is validity checking before a user is allowed into an application's main menu called from the AS/400 user profile's initial program. If the AS/400 user profile is not in this application's 'operator' file, then we'd want to send the user back to the AS/400 sign-on with an error message explaining why they are back at the sign-on. Loading QSNERROR didn't do much good and SNDXXXMSG looked too hokey. Any ideas?
