Guys I did not mean to probe deeply here, but  simply ask:
what is  it that would make your  job easier, or makes your place of  employment special or could make it a place you want to be at.

It  is not always money that is a prime factor , but other things like people,  peer /management/company relationships and support, benefits, location, or  work life related.  I am not forgetting education, hardware &  software resources.
i.e. 
What is the  value to you of
COMMON, a Tech Conference, Regional Conference or local User Group,
formal education,  magazines  &  other publications etc.
ability to  work on  leading technology or projects
(LPAR, Web, Server Consolidation, High Availability)
Workplace  environment &  facilities
