Hello, It sounds like the attachments are encoded with "quoted-printable" encoding, which is part of the MIME standard. (an internet standard for formatting E-mail so that you can do more than just inline text) You should be able to find full information about quoted-printable documents here: ftp://ftp.isi.edu/in-notes/rfc2045.txt If that doesn't tell you everything, you'll probably want to go to www.rfc-editor.org and do a search. I've written routines to decode a quoted-printable document before, but it was for my own E-mail client, which does not store documents the same way that OS/400 stores them. Quoted printable is relatively simple, though, you shouldn't have too much trouble writing your own. If you get stuck, let me know and I'll see if I can help.
