But IBM did the IBM thing and the AS/400 implementation of Apache is *not* open source... They took a stable (in the Open Source meaning of stable ;-) version of Apache, and then added/modified the source to hook it into OS/400. This resultant AS/400 version of Apache is not Open Source and as such you can not freely upgrade the various bits (modules) of it with source from the true Apache source (www.apache.org).
