From the V5R1 announcement letter 101-117

Base processor features — No support provided for 5250 interactive
workloads. Any task started through a 5250 session (5250 device or 5250
emulation) where the user waits for a response is considered iSeries
interactive work.

Of course, one could still question if this is the one CFINT uses...
