Greetings, all. Have a bit of a space-saving dilemma here. Right now we
have 4 AS/400s in our datacenter. We have a double-wide rack holding the 4
infowindows, 4 monitors, and 4 keyboards. Due to size limitations we can
only run 14" monitors.

We are proposing to get a 19" or 21" screen and run a KVM switch (obviously
using only the V part of that acronym). The question is - rather than
having a separate keyboard which only controls the operations of the KVM
switch (b/c our infowindows are all the RJ-45 style connector) is there some
sort of converter which is available to switch that signal to from PS2 back
to what the window is expecting for running from the switch to the
infowindow device? Then we could run a normal KB to the switch and still
have nice, solid, reliable twinax with just a touch of class. Either that,
or does anyone make an infowindow with PS2 connection for the KB? Ours have
the one for the mouse, but we don't have any need for that.

I know I could use ops console, but that defeats the purpose of what I'm
proposing. There is nothing wrong with our current config (4 monitors, 4
KB) but I would like to use more of the room in that cabinet, and by doing
this I could clear up about 16" of vertical. Thanks for any ideas.
