Re: why cum ptf apply faster than predicted?

Let's see: How could they estimated the difference between a 
840 and 170 and give a reasonable time ??? Since the PTF's are
applied against MANY different processor types, I have NEVER
understood how they would even try to guess at the install time.

I assume you know that those cume packages cover processors dating
back at least to 1994(9402-400) and everything forward to now ????

I wouldn't even put down a guess.......
