Correct. So what did you do in the app? For every created spool file
you wanted faxed you did a SBMFAX command with the relevant info like
this:

SBMFAX TYPE(*BCH) OPTION(*SPLEXIST) DSTSELMTH(*EXT) TO('426-0212')
       FILE(QSYSPRT) JOB(084730/JEFF/JLCROSBY4) SPLNBR(1) CRTCVRP(*NO)
       SNDACK(*YES) SNDTIME(*CURRENT)

(I know some of the options can be set to *PROFILE.) So didn't you need
to change every program in order to use it? I was hoping that it would
work such that I could deposit a spool file on an outq and based on,
say, FORMTYPE or USRDTA info, the fax software would know where to find
the fax number within the spool file. Then, instead of changing my
existing programs, I would be defining stuff within the fax software.
