If there is a serious discussion of i-Series Nation it can't be hosted by IBM  -  it should be here, on mid-range, away from IBM bossism.  How about it Dave?   What do you think?

John,

I wasn't sure if the good questions you asked below were just rhetorical
questions, or if you wanted some suggestions.

If you wanted some suggestions, then I could give some insights and maybe a
few answers.  But I would like to get some background information:

I read on the iNation homepage that the "iSeries Nation Freedom Council (is)
chartered to meet the needs of our Nation".  I also read they held their
first meeting at COMMON 5/15.  So my first questions are:  Who are the
people in the "Freedom Council"??  Is there any information on the net about
the "Freedom Council" that I've just missed??  Why isn't there any more info
about this on the iNation homepage??  Does the "Freedom Council" have the
power and the wisdom to implement any ideas on this subject, if some good
ones were put forward??

Do you want to discuss these things on this list, or in private?

Do you want to kick some ideas around and/or donate some time trying to do
something with these ideas?

Should we wait to see what kind of plan this secret "Freedom Council" comes
up with?

Let me know, if you want to pursue this, and if you know of others who
understand what you said about "It's up to us."

Well I think it's kinda a cross between  "Alien Nation"   and    "Rhythm
Nation"

Strange beings seemingly from an other world,    all with the same beat.

It's up to us.

I would be curious as to what you all think could be done with 20,000 +
Crazy iSeries supporters ?
Could they do things that IBM Corp wouldn't let the iSeries team do?   If
so what kind of things could we
get away with that IBM Corp would be certain to squash if Roch.  tried to
do it?

Is this similar to "Alien Nation" ??
