Below V5R1 you slice up the partitions CPW on the processor boundaries
CPU, at V5R1 & SStar processors you can do it almost anyway you want with
in the min/ max rules. As granular as 0.1% of a processor or multiple and
fractional processors. CPW changes as low as .01%,and life is more
dynamic and fewer IPLs on changes.
From V4R4 forward almost every system might be LPARed
