Phil,

We had that same issue on PC's which were not running the latest version of
Client Access Express-V5R1. You can download the beta copy, although you
should get it with your V5R1 shipment.

I typed mailto:// and it worked but then I had those // in the address that
I had to take out.

Rob,

I have managed to get the http: and ftp: to work, but not the mailto:. You
say you need to be at a current version of CA to get this working, which
one
?

We are at OS/400 V4R4 and CAExpress WorkStation Program Version 4.3 for
Windows 95, Windows 98, and Windows NT. I have service pack SF64474.

I looked around under the Assist menu and found where it wanted to be told
where to find the browser, but nothing for email.

Am I left out until we get an upgrade to the OS ?

After some testing here, we have determined that you need to be on a pretty
recent release of Client Access Express in order to get the mailto working.
The http is not quite as picky.
