I don't understand the difference between the URI and the Data parameters.

I needed a 256 byte URL, so I modified your code slightly.  Why did you
decide to use two parameters?  Do you do something special with the DATA
parm?

I wouldn't call it that "strange".  It's how XML works a lot of the time.

I have set up our web server to act as a simple XML server for a bunch of
AS/400 data that the MS programmers can't get to easily.  They prefer I send
them a very simple XML string from a web request rather than mess with ODBC,
etc...

I'm glad GETURI could help.  I am working on updating it.  There were still
some small bugs, but if you haven't had problems then you should be ok.
