I have come across situation where I needed something like this and
 we created the the physical join between the primary and secondary file
 without any keys.

 Created an RPG program referencing the file without the K in the Random
Access Type
 field of the File Specifications

 Created an Override with SHARE(*YES)

 We asked the OPNQRYF to Select the Record (Or Records) And Sequence the
file
 with primary and/or secondary fields

 Called the RPG program with a READ loop and ... that was it !
