Well, I'm still trying to get Perl working on my AS/400.

I installed the distribution OK, but
When I call the following program, I get the error:

Perl requires descriptor-based stdio

PGM
  CALL PGM(PERLDIST/PERL) PARM('/QQOPENSYS/HELLO.PL')
ENDPGM

I realize this may be old news to some, but not me!
I tried to get Perl working a few months ago, and got so frustrated I just
moved that website to an ISP.

I don't care to learn perl, nor to write any programs using it...I just want
it to work so I can put this website back on the 400 (where it belongs :) )

At least until I get time to redo this stuff in RPG! Right now, I'm working
on the "if it ain't broke..." philosophy.
TIA.
