What it tells me is that the power supply from your electric company had an interruption & that your UPS was working Ok. If your UPS was not working Ok then you would not be seeing those messages because your AS/400 would be down. Was anyone in the building when you got the messages? Did you have a power outage concurrently? Do you have some independent way of telling if you had a real electric company interuption or if it was something internal to your building's wiring. Do you have contractors in your building hooking up something & they might have cut a wrong wire? Can you trace how the electric power gets to your AS/400? It could be that you have a new person flipping switches on building power who is lacking in the department of on-the-job training. For example, there are probably building circuit breakers on a power panel in which the power to most of the building is shut down at nite & restored in the morning & there should be a clearly understandable sign on the one for the computer room that it is not to be touched & who to notify in case of emergency, but perhaps humaan error here with new user.
