Hello Joe,

All the compilers (RPG, COBOL, C, and C++) are part of WebSphere Development
Studio for iSeries V5R1. (WebSphere is becoming a meaningless word now --
branding gone mad.)

If you have software subscription then you can get them all for VRM450 by
requesting a refresh of ADTS.

However, I think you'll find that you do have the C compiler on your keyed
media CDs. You can install that and run for 70 days from the first use of
the compiler. Doing so will allow you to install the errno includes (some
of which are in QCLE/H/errno and others are in QSYSINC/SYS/errno. Having
the C prototypes is a big help when defing RPG IV prototypes to replace
them.

If you need more than 70 days then you will either have to buy the compiler
(not expensive since I suspect you qualify for PID) or scratch install and
get another 70 days --that's a bit drastic though :).

Regards,
Simon Coulter.
