Rizwan, I didn't know you could use the cpytostmf cmd either. I tried it, and the data is corrupt. Do you need to specify something special on the command? I use the RST command. To set up my test, I did this: SAV DEV('/qsys.lib/qtemp.lib/phil.file') OBJ(('/test.html')) Then I did this: > CPYTOSTMF FROMMBR('/qsys.lib/qtemp.lib/phil.file') TOSTMF 'test.html') and the data was screwy.
