Wow!  We just had a real eye-opener!

Some of you may recall that we've had some annoying performance problems
with one of our branch AS/400's over the past month.

On a whim, I finally checked QPFRADJ, and the dam*ed thing was set to
"1=Adjustment at IPL".  Seeing as we only IPL when absolutely necessary,
this setting doesn't help us a whole lot.  

I changed it to "2=Adjustment at IPL and automatic adjustment" and magic
happened!  Really smelling like a rose now!

I checked our other boxes, and they were all set to "3=Automatic
adjustment".  Is there any reason why, if you're already doing the
automatic adjustment, you wouldn't also choose to do the adjustment at
IPL?
