Hello everybody, We use to make copy - add to historical file (PF + 18 LFs)daily. That means to copy 4000000 records, which takes about 6 hours using normal CPYF command. I understood that modification of index files take the most part of time. Do somebody know how to optimize add operation to file? Make it in 10 cpys in parallel? The historical target file is in use 24h, therefore is not posible to copy just phisical file and then create indexes. Thaks a lot for any ideas or experiece sharing Dmitri Efimov Banco Wiese Sudameris +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
