Leif, <<yes, but some people say the API don't work, or are too <<cumbersome to administer, or whatever. the net result is <<that not all vendors use these (otherwise Ron wouldn't <<have asked). In any case it is easy to obtain a count of <<contemporal users, either using the APIs or otherwise. <<All I'm suggesting (listening Ron?) is that this be done <<rather than counting user profiles, terminals, sessions, <<etc. Yes, I am listening and it is very easy to count all the users on the system. But I still need to differentiate between a user with multiple sessions and a user with multiple signons. Unless I missed something, I still don't know how to do that?
