My point was that my employer was in the *business* of providing programming services for those platforms. So having a resident programmer kinda is to be expected. <g> The actual AS/400 shops who contracted with us had no programming staff and usually no operations staff. I was refuting the contention that almost all 400 shops will have at least one resident programmer. That is definately not true in my (limited) view of the world.
