Does anyone use a type of SNMP data viewer to monitor hardware operational
statistics on the AS400?   The TCPIP Server job that allows a connection n
to perform this is the ZNMP as is STRTCPSVR (*SNMP).

Apparently, unless an exit program is in place, a profile/password is
suprisingly not needed.   I just wanted to find out what the risks were with
this feature.
