Shannon, Review the archives in the MI list for this. I don't think anybody came to a good method of reliably getting the parameter definitions. The count perhaps, but not the definitions. Part of the problem is that the parameters aren't "defined" - they're pointers to storage in another program (typically). Wouldn't one need to link the ODT/OES back? --buck
