You're running a *billion* dollar business on a 436 (a 9402 P05 or P10) and you're complaining about having to upgrade the hardware?!?!? You're right, there is something definitely wrong with this picture. I mean, c'mon! The OS itself is probably taking a big chunk of change on your DASD which is maxxed out at 50GB (nominal; half that if you're mirroring). Maybe in the future your company could plan for growth in your business *and* in the OS. Unlike MicroSh*t products, OS/400 keeps getting better & better with each release.
