This seems to happen to us when the last of a spool file is sent to the
printer.  The print program ask the printer to acknowledge end of file or
something to that.  The printer waits until it finishes printing before
acknowledging.  The 400 printer program times out before the acknowledge.
The larger the print buffer and/or slower the printer, the longer the time
out value has to be.  Check your activation timer and inactivity timer on
the 400 as well as on the printers interface.
