Currently it is defined as 'XAIX XAUTOQ'. Does the order of that matter?

Mike,

Is it defined as a printer or a remote outq? If remote outq, do you have
the destination options set? Try DESTOPT('XAUTOQ XAIX') on the outq
description. This was IBM's "enhancement" to standard lpd/lpr printing to
add some functionality. IIRC this included number of copies and page range.
